Picky Eaters

My child is a picky eater.

I'm still amazed at how far she has made it on cheese and carbs alone, really.

When she was really little, she would nearly eat everything. But, as time went on, she started deciding that everything was gross. Vegetables, fruits, drinks, meats, everything.

Do you have a picky eater?

Do you know any tricks that help?

Big City Lights, Small Town Nights.

Now let me set this straight, I've never lived in a small town for too long. But at least i can remember Louisville being comfortable. I remember visiting my grandmother when we still lived out of town, and even when I was younger, it didn't seem so damn crowded!
i dont want Alice to be in a school where shes in a crowd of 600 people.
I want her to be well known among her teachers, and the staff there. I want her friends' parents to know eachothers families, etc.
Sometimes, I feel like moving to a small town where everyone knows everyone, and there's one stoplight and one highschool..
But the more I look into that, the less money there is to be made, the less job opportunity, etc.

I'm in a strange place.

Is the frustration of new traffic making a once 5 minute ride last an hour worth the move to a rural area, even if just right outside town?

yeah, probably not..

What are your opinions? Do you live in a big city or a small town

First Post.

Hey guys. So, I have a cosmetics blog, but this single mom/parenting blog is something I have wanted to do for a while now. I couldn't think of an awesome topic to start with, but I think after I introduce myself, then I'll go into that.

As previously stated, i am a single mother. i am 24 years old, not dating anyone, and am a cosmetology student in Louisville Ky.
My parents are divorced, both remarried, and both divorced again. I have a brother who is my heart. A step brother whom I love so dearly. And a brother that passed away a few years ago at the age of 17 in a car accident. I miss him every day, and not a second goes by that I don't think of him.
I love music, movies, and spending time with Alice. i love cosmetics, doing hair, art, fashion, going to big events, and spending time with my huge family. (my moms youngest of 11)
I need to get in shape. i love eating healthy food, taking vitamins, going for walks, and i adore my two doggies. Chihuahuas, Bella and Clair.
My daughter's name is Alice, and she is four years old.

Any other questions, just ask.

On to my topic, ...breastfeeding.

Okay, so I feel like a complete lactivist, but I am so pro breastfeeding. I breastfed Alice for 11 months, and supplemented with a bottle a little bit at about month 8 or 9. I feel like it did great with helping me lose weight shortly after the birth, and helped her in more ways than I'll ever know.
It made me feel closer to Alice, and I think it really comforted her more than a bottle ever could. She's beyond advanced for her age in every way possible, and healthy as can be. I'd like to thinkpart of that has to do with my commitment to breastfeeding.
I can still remember waking up in the middle of the night with bleeding cracks, and soreness in my breasts, but I still kept on, (with much help from my mother's motivation) and I did it!
I'm proud of myself, and I think that I did a great thing by choosing this route.

What are some of your favorite products that helped with your breastfeeding journey?
Mine were my breast pump, and my boppy pillow.

Comment, introduce yourself, and welcome to my blog!
